Clarence loves its own newspaper

Ed,

I have been designing and buying ads in the Clarence Valley Indedependent for 20 years now, for my clients, local MP Steve “Boxer MP” Cansdell and Chris “New Grafton Bridge” Gulaptis.  During that time, I got to know and become close friends with current Nationals candidate Richie “Radio Star” Williamson and his wife Leonie “Fabulous” Williamson.

That leads me to asking your readers two things:

Firstly, advertising in the CVI doesn’t just support one of the few remaining regional independent newspapers, it also works really well. The Clarence loves its own newspaper, and it supports people who sponsor it, so if you want to grow your business, talk to them about an ad campaign.

Secondly, it is quite likely we’ll get a Sydney Labor Government on 25 March, because of stuff that’s going on down there.

That is why it is so important to elect Richie for Clarence. Sydney Labor broke promise after promise to the Clarence when they were last in power: the “cast iron guarantee” to build our new bridge; the defunding of the Pacific Highway upgrade; putting all the health money into Sydney hospitals; the list goes on.

Under that NSW Labor Government, Steve Cansdell literally had to “Pedal for Preschools” on his push bike to keep them going, despite Labor cuts.

What the Clarence needs now is not a timid obedient Labor Party robot, but the strong fighting voice of popular former Mayor Richie Williamson.

Don’t just vote for him; volunteer to help his campaign.
