Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions this week on the Gwydir Highway to carry out maintenance work about half way between Grafton and Glen Innes.
One traffic lane will be closed from Tuesday 25 May while concrete culverts are replaced at two sites about 80 kilometres west of Grafton, ensuring the highway corridor continues to drain efficiently and reducing the risk of damage to the road surface. Transport for NSW crews will be working from 6am to 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and expect to complete the project by August, weather permitting. Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users. Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time. For the latest traffic updates download the Live Traffic NSW App, visit livetraffic.com or call 132 701
