Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions next week on the Gold Coast Highway at Tweed Heads to carry out maintenance work.
The southbound on ramp from the Gold Coast Highway interchange to the Pacific Motorway will be closed while work is carried out to improve street lighting and maintain guard rail on the motorway overpass, with an alternative route available via Kennedy Drive.
To minimise impacts to motorists, work will be carried out overnight from 6pm on Monday 19 July and is expected to be complete by 5am on Tuesday 20 July, weather permitting.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
