Caring for the children in our community

Every child is special and unique.

And they all deserve the best, especially when it comes to childcare.

In the Clarence Valley, parents are incredibly fortunate to have access to several reputable childcare services managed by Clarence Childhood Services Association Inc.

A not-for-profit, community-based organisation, Clarence Family Day Care provides quality and accredited childcare for children from birth to 12 years of age, in the homes of professional, registered and trusted local educators.

With a strong focus on the importance of helping children develop their social skills, confidence and communication within the structure of an established network, Clarence Family Day Care recognise the extraordinary individual needs and requirements of each child, and ensure they participate in appropriate activities to encourage and support them as they learn through play in a stimulating, engaging, clean, secure and motivating environment.

Clarence Family Day Care educators understand the value of early childhood education, and they are dedicated to providing local families with outstanding childcare services.

Manager of Clarence Family Day Care Cristie Harris, is exceptionally proud of the team she leads and the valuable services they provide to the local community.

“Essentially, we work with our educators, local families and their children to provide support and quality early childhood education, care and interaction along with additional resources through individual programs,” she said.

“We have a great team of educators and staff who are very passionate about the work they do, and we receive very positive feedback and comments from our families.

“We have some educators who are now looking after the children of children they previously cared for, and it’s wonderful to see them grow up and have their own families.

“Some educators are also looking after siblings from the same families who come through at different times, and things like that do make the job special.”

Clarence Family Day Care educators create and provide caring, nurturing and safe environments where children are encouraged to grow and develop through play.

Due to the wonderful care provided by educators at Clarence Family Day Care, all our educators are full and have been for many months. We are looking for additional educators who are passionate and committed to providing wonderful care for children.

Ms Harris and the team at Clarence Family Day Care are dedicated to working with children to provide the best childcare for their youngsters in the Clarence Valley.

Along with Yamba, Maclean and Grafton, Clarence Family Day Care also provide services in Ballina, Casino and Woolgoolga.
