Emergency crews were quick on the scene of a car accident in the Maclean CBD, just before 10am on Monday morning.
An eyewitness told the
CV Independent that she had just stepped out of the butchers (Maclean Variety Meats) and heard a screech of tyres.
“When I looked up I saw a blue Holden, which was heading towards the Maclean roundabout, mount the footpath and stairs of the Commonwealth Bank [two doors away],” she said.
“I believe it was a female driving the car,” she said.
