Appeal to find Yamba teen missing for more than a week

A Yamba teenager has been missing for more than a week and police are appealing to the public for information to help locate the girl.

Coffs Clarence Police District took to its social media channels to alert the public 15-year-old Taylah Levett had not been seen since leaving a home on Yamba Road, Yamba, at 7.45pm on Tuesday, October 4.

As Taylah has been unable to be located since, officers from Coffs Clarence Police district have launched an investigation into her whereabouts.

Due to her age, both police and family hold concerns for Taylah’s welfare.

“Taylah is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 160 -165cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair and brown eyes,” police said. 

“She was last seen wearing a maroon-coloured zipped jacket and chequered track pants.

“Taylah is known to frequent Casino, Lismore and Yamba areas.”
