Members recently travelled to Taree to compete in the Manning River Dragon Boat Regatta – the weather was fabulous, competition strong and the conditions were great – ideal for Lisa and Debbie as this was their first regatta.

Well done ladies. We competed in several categories combining with other clubs in the 20’s and making the finals in the women’s 10’s.

We have recently purchased a new boat with the help of a grant from the Stronger Communities Programme – it is wonderful for the club to have the latest in equipment.

Club members have a busy time ahead with preparation for our annual regatta (our last regatta was in 2019) at the start of Jacaranda week. A large number of members are also preparing to compete in the Pan Pacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast in November.

GET FIT WHILE YOU SIT – we welcome new paddlers (12 and over) throughout the year and are currently training Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 5.15pm from the Grafton Rowing Club and Saturday mornings 7.45am from Corcoran Park – weather permitting.
