Maclean Patchwork and Quilters

Maclean Patchwork and Quilters have continued to gather over the past two years under difficult circumstances.

It has been a test of our resilience but has not stopped us from keeping our Group together and informed and most importantly, busy doing what we do best, sewing and crafting.

We returned to our ‘home’ at the ‘Uniting Church Peace Hall’ in Church Street, Maclean at the end of last year. We are now into 2022 and ready for a year packed with events. We are hoping to attract new members and make this a Patchwork year to remember.

Maclean Patchwork and Quilters is having an ‘Airing of the Quilts’ on the Easter weekend in conjunction with the Highland Gathering celebrations. So, mark April 16-17 in your diaries, and come along and view these beautiful quilts at The Maclean Uniting Church Hall, Church Street, Maclean, enjoy morning tea or our sales table of handmade items and fabrics, we will be also raffling off a stunning quilt.

Also, for April Maclean Patchwork and Quilters has been chosen as ‘Artist of the Month’ at Ferry Park. This will be a display of anything patchwork related such as quilts, embroidery, patchwork bags, pouches, bookmarks etc. Some of these items will be for sale.

In July Maclean Patchwork and Quilters will be holding a Quilt Exhibition which will include quilts from Maclean Patchwork and Quilters and some of our Zone friends in the Northern Rivers.

We are all looking forward to 2022 and wish everyone a positive and rewarding 2022

Our group meet every Tuesday 9am – 2pm at The Maclean Uniting Church Hall, Church Street, Maclean, New members welcome.
