Laurie Fitzpatrick of Maclean Lions has received his long service medal and certificate for more than 50 years of community service with Lions and Apex.

Laurie is still very much involved in community activities and can regularly be seen helping at the monthly Maclean Community Markets. Laurie says that his wife Margaret has always been at his side through the years helping with the numerous Lions projects.

Besides attending to the daily tasks of their business at Skye Coffee Lounge and Restaurant, Laurie is also a JP who is regularly asked to certify documents, as well as being the treasurer for the Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club. A true community minded person.
