Last Tuesday June 22 the Championship Pairs began with results as follows: B. Murray / M. Toovey def C. Johnson / K. Power; W. MacDonald / T. Shorten def D. Lawson / S. Hillier; M. Hall / A. Bowling (r/up) def K. Johnson / G. Glass; D. Walsh / K. Napper (winners) def M. McClaer / S. Jacquin (lucky losers).

The semi-final was played on Thursday with B. Murray v W. MacDonald and M. Hall v D. Walsh.

Unfortunately rain halted play after 12 ends and the games continued on Saturday morning. Both games were very close with some brilliant bowls played and the final between W. MacDonalds and M. Halls team will be played on Tuesday July 6.
