Our last ‘Sconversation’ social morning was a great success, and we will have our next one on Wednesday June 30 from 9.30 – 11.30am at our rooms, 40 River Street near the Maclean roundabout.

We had a cultural outing to the Grafton Regional Gallery last Wednesday followed by lunch in Grafton, which was very enjoyable.

Our Spring Fair and Scarecrow competition is coming up on Saturday September 11, so save that date for some really good fun. This is our major fundraiser for disaster relief, and we are planning to include all sections of the community and will be offering prizes and trophies for the best scarecrows. We are still looking for women who are interested in any form of craft, such as knitting, crocheting, embroidery, patchwork and who are willing to assist others to learn these skills.
