The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service charity golf day was held on Friday May 12 at Yamba Country Golf Club. 

A big thank you to Nicholson and Page Transport for being the major sponsor of the event and the other local businesses who supported the day.   

In all, 23 teams took to the field with Nutrient Ag Solutions winning the Ambrose event followed by Disco Marine from Grafton and Nicholson and Page Transport coming third. 

It was a fun day with plenty of prizes on offer and the weather was fantastic. The day raised over $15,000 with funds going directly to support the ongoing maintenance and operations of the Lismore based rescue helicopter.  

The support of the local business community is critical to the ability of the Service to operate 24-7 across Northern NSW. The Service looks forward to running the event again next year and hope more local businesses can join us.
