at Yamba Golf and Country Club Around 90 amateurs and 42 pros teed it up for this year’s $26,000 Pro-Am with Pros coming from 10 different countries and with the course being in pristine condition the pro’s were full of praise for our little country town. Sarah Kemp from Tuncurry was the eventual winner shooting a very respectable 69 four under beating out in a 3 way tie Stephanie Na, Kristen Farmer and Norwegian Olympian Tonje Daffinrud who all shot 70. The amateur winners in the men’s was Greg Starr with 42pts from birthday boy Mackenzie Wright with 38pts, 3rd went to Reilly Wunderlich 38pts, 4th was Bruce Lulham 37pts and 5th went to Graham Kulmar with 35pts on a c/b. In the lady’s two were stand outs with Carrie Aitken and Jane Bonner both shooting 43 points with the c/b going to Carrie, 3rd went to Helen Collins 37pts, 4 was Glenda Smith 36pts and 5th went to Allison Caller with 35pts.
