Last Wednesday’s 27-hole Championships had 54 players involved on another magnificent day in Yamba and Fiona Smart and Janette Blair (135) were named as the Foursomes Championship winners for 2023. Congratulation ladies!

Balls were awarded to 117.5 and the day’s winners were excluded.
Wednesday’s nine-hole winner, in a field of 14, was Jacqueline Warr (20pts) from Redland Bay.
The NTP winner was Irene Williams (3rd).
Helen Collins’ fantastic week continued by winning Friday’s Div 1. Janelle Carpenter had another successful day by winning a quarter of the NTP and visitor, Jacqueline Warr, topped off a great week by starring in C Grade after winning Wednesday’s nine-hole competition.
Helen Collins’ fabulous core of 42pts secured her a clear win in Div 1 and Darrie Nightingale (37pts) was r/up.
The Div 2 winner was Jenny Dewar (33pts c/b) who scraped in ahead of Glen Czarnota 33pts.
In Div 3, it was Lesley Love (36pts) who won while Jacqueline Warr (35pts) was the next best.
Balls were awarded to 33pts c/b.
