Whiddon launches Disability Support Services in Grafton

Award-winning not-for-profit care provider, Whiddon, is pleased to now offer personalized and flexible disability support services in Grafton.

Whiddon’s Regional Manager Community South, Aaron Evans, said Whiddon is very proud to now offer assistance to help people living with a disability to achieve their goals and live safely and independently.

“Whiddon has been caring for people for more than 70 years. Our award-winning relationship-based care approach is something we are very proud of. We understand how important personal connection is for those we care and advocate for and believe that meaningful day-to-day relationships between our carers and clients are at the heart of great care.

“We apply the same elements of relationship-based that we do in our Community Care services, from a consistent team of carers who get to know our clients well, to creating meaningful activities that make a difference in our client’s lives, such as trying new experiences or continuing to do favorite hobbies. By understanding our clients well, we can suggest things that make a difference in their lives.

“We can offer clients social support, community participation, in-home respite, personal care and help with daily living. One of the things we focus on is making our clients and their families true partners in their care,” Aaron said.

Whiddon is a registered NDIS provider and offers disability services, including government-funded and private services. For more information, visit www.whiddon.com.au or phone 1300 738 388.
