Lions are so excited that the Townsend Park will be officially opening on Saturday November 6 at 10.30am, with Council, State and Federal dignitaries in attendance.

It has been a long, and sometimes a frustrating time for Lions, but we have finally got there (with the help of some great people).  Lions will be doing a free sausage sizzle, there will be a coffee van, and the local Gulmarrad RFS will have a firefighting truck on site, and this will be an ideal opportunity for juniors to enjoy a close inspection, and maybe time to speak to the RFS about your fire plan.

The Lions team will be handing out free raffle tickets to those attending, we have a $50 voucher from Toyworld, and the Toyworld owners have kindly donated some extra prizes, which will make great Christmas stocking fillers, the draw will take place during the opening.

Please do come down, say hello to our Lions members, you won’t be able to miss us in our yellow and purple shirts, and have a great morning.
