For twelve months prior to the original COVID-19 lockdown, the ongoing viability of the Yamba Country Music Club was in question.  

Currently with the uncertainty of our virus future, it was felt by our committee that any change of fortunes in the performance of our club was very unlikely and that now was the time to bring Yamba Country to a close.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the great people who have supported Yamba Country in any way, Yamba Bowling Club, mussos, sound personal, afternoon tea providers (before insurance canned it), committee office holders, but especially to our wonderful audiences who attended to listen and appreciate the entertainment that was provided.

Funds that had been in kitty have been distributed to various organisations, on the proviso that they were used for the welfare or wellbeing of local people. We as a committee are thrilled at the response of these groups, detailing just where our funds were used. Well done all.
