Indulge in an array of mouth-watering Italian delights, from savory pasta and pizza to refreshing Prosecco and decadent desserts. The festival will feature exciting activities including dancing, tug-of-war, and showcases of exquisite Italian automobiles and motorcycles. Car enthusiasts are in for a treat as ten stunning Ferraris make their way from Queensland to showcase their iconic beauty.
A Tribute to Our Heritage
LisAmore! is more than just a festival; it’s a heartfelt tribute to the enduring bond between Lismore and its friendship cities in northern Italy, Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto. This event pays homage to the Italian settlers whose contributions have woven a rich cultural tapestry into our community. As we celebrate the sixth edition of LisAmore! we reflect on our community’s resilience and unity, looking forward to a bright and festive future.
Fun for the Whole Family
Families will find plenty to enjoy in the lively Kids Space, packed with engaging activities, Italian language classes, and captivating performances. Delight in the toe-tapping rhythms of Domenico and his Latin Mafia Band, participate in Tarantella dance workshops led by Serena Joy, and join in the fun and games orchestrated by the vibrant Antonio Mazzella and his entertaining characters. We also have a tug-o-war run by Summerland Bank so pull together a team!
Extend the Celebration: A Week of Winter Wonder
While LisAmore! takes centre stage on June 16, we invite travellers and holidaymakers to stay in Lismore for ‘A Week of Winter Wonder.’ The celebration continues with the spectacular Lismore Lantern Parade by LightnUp on Saturday, June 22, marking its 30th anniversary. This dynamic event promises to dazzle with creativity and bring the city to life in a stunning display of light and artistry.
