The Clarence Valley has once again been showcased on television, during a visit from the Channel 7 Sunrise weather crew, last Thursday morning.

‘The Peach Farm’ Hipcamp, just off on the Pacific Highway at Mororo, was featured on the mornings weather, live coverage.

The fog was still lifting as weather presenter Sam Mac interviewed farm manager Gypsy Betts, who introduced him to some of the furry farm characters.

Gypsy said that the 55-acre property is an animal rescue farm where most of the animals have been raised from a very young age.

She said that a lot of the animals have names and come when they are called.

“The two donkeys – ‘Donkey’ and ‘Fiona’, are expecting a baby and its name will be ‘Shrek’,” said Gypsy.

Throughout the morning, campers from as far away as Victoria, joined their small children in helping to feed the friendly farm animals. This is not just something that is available for the campers, it’s open to locals for day trips as well.

Sam’s producer Sean Flynn aka ‘The Human Emoji’, told the Independent that their visit to the Peach Farm was part of ‘Sams NSW Road Trip’ which started on Monday at Bondi Beach and headed north to the Hunter Valley, Forster/Tuncurry and The Peach Farm before finishing the week at Mullumbimby on Friday.
