Maclean High School P&C is putting out an urgent call for fully vaccinated volunteers to join our lovely team of people who help make and serve food in our canteen. From this week, only people who are fully vaccinated can work or volunteer on school grounds, meaning that a couple of our treasured volunteers are having to hang up their aprons. We appreciate every person who supports our school community by volunteering – a big THANK YOU!

Students and staff at the school will know that the food on offer at the canteen is delicious, healthy and affordable – breakfast, morning tea and lunch are all available. 

The message from Penny and the P & C however is ‘help!’ as the canteen is now very short of volunteers. Volunteers are needed for a few hours each day to help prepare food – full training and a delicious lunch is provided. The canteen is a great way of meeting people, getting work experience and helping your local community. All profits from the canteen go back into supporting the school. 

You don’t have to be a parent of a child at the school to volunteer. You don’t have to come in every week – whatever hours you can spare would be great.
