The paddocks on Wendy Gordon’s Ulmarra property may not have been full of country music fans last year following the unfortunate cancellation of the 2022 Clarence Valley Country Muster, but on April 1, the sounds of singing and jovial festivities will once again fill the air during the first of three specially organised one-day musters which will be held over the next several months.
Concertgoers and caravaners are being invited to journey to Ms Gordon’s property at 11 Coulters Lane for a full day of live entertainment with renowned singers and songwriters including Chad Morgan, who will headline the event, alongside Allan Caswell, the Kross Kut Snowband, Terry Gordon, Lindsay Waddington, and Justin Standley, performing from 9am until 5:30pm.
Bush poets will also be invited onto the stage to recite their work, and Ms Gordon said she is looking forward to welcoming people back onto her property this weekend.
“It should be a good day, I’m very excited,” she said.
“It will be so beneficial for the community of Ulmarra as well.
“There has been a fair bit of interest in this event.
“I’ll probably have about 20 caravans from Brisbane and Newcastle turn up, along with my other followers from the Clarence Valley Country Muster, which will be great.
“The place is looking a picture, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.”
Admission for the one-day event is $40 per person.
