Results for week ending April 9

Wednesday’s Chook Run had 8 players tee of with the winner of the day Kerry Cook with a nett 34. Terry Mitchell was 

runner up with a nett 35. The handicapper will be busy there, I’m sure. Nearest the gum went to Mike Gillespie. That 

practise is paying off Mike. Drive and pitch on the 4th went to Keith Miller and least putts was Graham Caswell on a

countback from Peter Jones. A great day had by all.

Good Friday saw a shortened par 3 competition held with 24 starters and a fun day for all.

No Saturday ladies competition for the Easter break but we did have some ladies hit off and enjoy the morning.

Sunday was a busy day again at the club. No croquet today but the euchre players made up for it.

Golf was a Stroke Matchplay qualifier sponsored by Maclean Variety Meats with 13 hitting off. Winner was Aaron Patterson

with a nett 32, the handicapper took a shot off him for the win (well done). Runner up was Trevor Simpson with a nett 34.

NTP on 5 went to Graham Caswell, least putts was Barry Burgess on a countback from Shane Rose. Club balls went to 

Kerry Cook and Theo Sheppard.
