Nearest the pin was Bev Ensbey and least putts was won by the winner on the day Nancy Commerford.    The Sunday competition was a Stroke event which also doubled up for the Lindsay Haynes Memorial Day. The shield being an annual battle between Lawrence Golf Club and the Brushgrove Social Club and 30 players contested the event with the overall winner being Brushgrove.

All players and guests were treated to a 3 course luncheon which was sponsored by LGSC Treasurer Elaine Haynes. Lawrence winner on the day was Tom Mammen (nett 30) beating Trevor Simpson (nett 35). Some great golf there Tommy.
