Everyone loves a birthday party! Lucky you! Grafton VIEW is having a 57th birthday celebration, and you are invited. “Hmm, what is VIEW all about?” VIEW is a national women’s organisation supporting the education of disadvantaged children in the Learning for Life Program. Within families, financially struggling, it offers these children support to thrive at school and break the cycle of disadvantage. VIEW stands for Voice, Interest, and Education of Women.
At the moment, Grafton VIEW Club supports three children in the Learning for Life Program. These children can now catch up and keep up at school. With this life changing support, a better future will be built for them. Education is the foundation of every child’s future, but poverty can stand in the way. Grafton VIEW friends are connected through this support, this common purpose. You too can help. All support is crucial to unlocking a better future for these children. You are welcome to come along, make lasting friendships, share ideas and knowledge, and enjoy social activities. This way you will support the education outcomes of students experiencing disadvantage.
Grafton VIEW meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month. However, there will not be a meeting for October, because there are plans for that huge 57th birthday celebration on Friday November 1, and all are welcome to come along and bring your friends. The function will commence at 10am for 11am at the Grafton District Services Club, Mary Street, Grafton.
Birthdays are fun! There will be a visit from the Jacaranda Party, entertainment with the ‘Good Vibes Choir’, lots of raffles, tombolas, and an amazing trading table. The room decoration theme will be “The Secret Garden.” Tickets can be obtained at The Birdscage in Prince Street, Grafton, $30 each. Come along and accept your invitation, because Grafton VIEW is so much fun!
Hope to see you there!
