Marshall Okell (Marshall & the Fro) has long been a fixture on the Northern Rivers (and beyond) music scene, spreading his blues message and playing up to 200 shows a year.

His “deep, raw, honest, dirty blues sound” his biography says “grabs you by the throat and then soothes you with a sweet honey-tasting musical medicine”.

Marshall & the Fro play at the Iluka Bowls Club this Saturday afternoon from 4pm.

Lower Clarence duo, Alivan Blu plays the support slot. It’s a free show, but bookings are advised, due to Covid restrictions.
