Fashionable time to raise funds

The Maclean Bowling Club hosted their annual Maclean Cup Fashion Parade and High Tea on June 25, with all proceeds raised from the festivities being donated to the Maclean Hospital Auxiliary.

Vicki Gulaptis was the MC during the event, as Bev Anderson from Clovelly’s Fashions, and Michelle Gallagher from Ta’Chele Australis, along with their lovely models showcased the latest racing and winter fashions on the catwalk.

The Maclean Hospital Auxiliary committee members also kindly volunteered their time at the event to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The Maclean Bowling Club would also like to acknowledge the raffle prize donations from Clovelly’s Fashions, Ta’Chele Australis, Heart of Space, Shoes at Carney’s, Maclean Variety Meats, and New Horizons Hair.

The event raised $1400 for the Maclean Hospital Auxiliary.

The Maclean Bowling Club are also looking forward to continuing their association with the Clarence River Jockey Club (CRJC) during the 2022 XXXX July Winter Racing Carnival when they will proudly sponsor the Kids and Family Fashions on the Field, along with the feature race, the Maclean Bowling Club 2022 Maclean Cup, on July 17.
