COVID-19 masks

Ed,

As we look back on the week before Christmas when many people were happy to hear they no longer needed to wear a mask or QR code, I wonder if the powers that be will ever admit they made a huge mistake.

Looking at the numbers rising on a daily basis I fear for our health system. I for one will take my advice from the medical and scientific experts, not a politician whose only interest seems to be to grow the economy.

Wearing a mask shopping is nothing compared to wearing one all day as our health workers are obliged to do.

Spare a thought for our hospital and Aged Care facility staff and shop assistants who have to wear a mask all day – makes wearing one while shopping a mere inconvenience.
