Corcoran Park dog park – progress update

The construction and landscaping of the new dog park at Corcoran Park is well underway and on schedule to be completed by the end of September.
The specialised facility overlooking the Clarence River will transform the disused site into a valuable community asset.

The new park will feature:
• Fully fenced separate areas for active and quiet dogs
• Fully landscaped dry riverbed to explore
• Raised sandpit for digging
• Shade structures and seating
• Retained mature trees plus additional planting
• Turf areas and gardens
• Connected concrete pathways for accessibility
• Onsite vehicle parking
So, if you’ve had a ruff day, or just like to have a ball, this dog park will be the place to be … no barking up the wrong tree here!
The $982,000 project is funded by the Federal and NSW governments.
