On Sunday October 6 the Clarence Valley Sports Fishing Club held our Bass Round for the month and 23 teams turned out for what was to be a great day, with warm conditions and some quality fishing.

Teams headed off in all directions from the start line at Corcoran Park in the hunt for their best 2 Bass for the day. All teams returned back for the live weigh in at 12:30pm. Bass were weighed, photographed and returned safely to the water before scores were tallied and presentation began. The top placing teams caught fish up and downriver using a variety of lures from surface presentations to ever faithful spinnerbaits. Cash and prizes were awarded to placing teams, big bass, junior big Bass and our signature brushy limit.
