Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Monday 24 May on the Pacific Highway southbound between Tyndale and Maclean to carry out finishing work.
From Monday 24 to Thursday 27 May, about one kilometre of the southbound carriageway will be reduced to one lane only with width restrictions of 4.6 metres. A detour will be in place for southbound oversize and over mass (OSOM) vehicles wider than 4.6 metres. These OSOM vehicles will be required to:
· exit at the Maclean interchange via the southbound off ramp
· detour onto Big River Way continuing south for about 14 kilometres
· re-enter the motorway at the Tyndale South interchange on ramp.
OSOM vehicles less than 4.6 metres wide will not be required to detour and traffic controls will be in place to assist their journey through the work zone.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
