Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on Old Glen Innes Road for load testing to be carried out on Bawden Bridge.

The work will take place over five days from Monday 9 to Friday 13 September between 7am and 6pm, weather permitting.

Load testing gauges will be installed from Monday to Wednesday, with the load testing to be carried out on Thursday and Friday.

On Thursday and Friday, motorists may experience delays of up to five minutes during the testing, although delays of this duration will be kept to a minimum and every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience.

These short closures will not impact school bus services.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of motorists and workers.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
