Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Coraki Road at Coraki as part of ongoing maintenance work on Glebe Bridge.
Intermittent bridge closures of up to 10 minutes will be required from Monday 15 June during work hours to carry out establishment work for painting, scour and corrosion protection, ensuring the bridge remains in good condition for motorists. Transport for NSW will limit traffic impacts during much of the work but traffic control measures will be in place while plant and equipment is moved around the work site.
Alternative routes are available via Adams Street and Swan Bay Road or the Casino Coraki Road. Work will be carried out from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and is expected to be complete by April 2022, weather permitting.Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will remain in place for the safety of workers and motorists. Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
