Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions from this weekend on the Pacific Motorway near the South Tweed Heads interchange to carry out concrete slab replacement work.
Existing concrete pavement on the northbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway will be removed and replaced from Sunday 23 May, with traffic diverted onto Darlington Drive. To minimise impact to motorists work will be carried out overnight from 6pm to 3am from Sunday to Thursday, finishing at 3am on Friday 2 July, weather permitting. No work will be carried out on Friday or Saturday nights.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
