It’s a well-known landmark in Grafton.
And it’s just celebrated a very special occasion.
Located at 126 Prince Street, the Uniting Church building has been opening its doors and welcoming members of the congregation, along with numerous Clarence Valley residents and visitors to the area, for 100 years.
To celebrate this incredible milestone, an exhibition featuring historical images, beautiful wedding gowns worn by local brides in the church, and family memorabilia from 1923 through to 2023 was displayed in the main foyer of the building between July 14-16.
The exhibition was formally opened with a blessing by former Minister Noel Mansfield, with many attendees complimenting the proud local history on display.
