Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund Deadline Extended
Resilience NSW has announced the extension of the $25 million Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund (BCRRF) to ensure that everyone has enough time to submit.
Applications for Stream 2 of the program will now be accepted until 12pm on 11 December 2020.
Marg Prendergast, Executive Director Disaster Recovery, Resilience NSW said they had responded to feedback from councils and community, asking for a little more time to get their applications in.
“We’re encouraging community groups, councils, joint organisations, NGOs and not-for-profits to apply for grants of $20,000 to $300,000 and can’t wait to see these projects come to life across NSW.
“We have also extended the period for successful projects to use their funding by a year to June 2023, to ensure projects of all shapes and sizes get the same opportunity to make a difference for the communities across the state,” Ms Prendergast said.
Applications can be submitted before midday 11 December at www.emergency.nsw.gov.au
