Welcome to the Braves report, it has been some time, approx two and a half weeks since our last game together and Tuesday last week was still a wet affair.

We found the greens very playable, but the fairways were still wet and patchy.

Our winner was David Bryden, and he won the bottle of champagne with his 21 points Stableford score in conditions that absolutely left all other players floundering despite the generous free “water-affected” placement rule.

He also won NTP on the 17th hole (second shot 1.5m) and Chris Bell won it on the 11th hole with his 2nd shot ending 12cm from the edge. Awesome you two. Sadly, now David is only allowed one shot for his future NTPs as his handicap, after adjustment, is below the “25 & above” threshold for two shots.
