The scaffolding on Maclean’s historic Argyle Hotel is about to be removed, as the long-awaited opening is finally here.
Hotel owner ‘Dhugal’ said that the unofficial opening will take place on Wednesday 13 November.
“It will be a bar and restaurant dining, with a beer garden,” said Dhugal.
“It’ll be pub food, and all the classics will be there.
There will be an emphasis on good steak, that we grow, so we are using all of our own products.
We will be utilising a lot of local produce, which we’re still finalising the details of that.
The menu’s done so it will be pub classics, but elevated, with a few twists on it.
We also have four hotel suites upstairs, all with their own ensuites, which are up and running now.
In the old stables building and courtyards out the back, we are looking at doing some small functions later in the year,” he said.
