Are you a Senior in need of better technology understanding

The Clarence Valley Seniors Computer Club based in Maclean, is conducting an ‘Open Day’ on Thursday, January 25, timed between 10 am to 12 noon.

This is an open invitation to all seniors to inspect the club to see and learn how the club can help seniors understand digital technology. Phones have quickly become part of our lives these days and phones have become our pocket computers. Digital technology is changing at such a rapid pace that most seniors are finding it quite daunting to understand.

This is where the computer club can help, as the club offers seniors a comfortable air-conditioned learning environment. The club has instructors to show seniors how to manage Phones, Laptops, iPads, Tablets, and even smart televisions. The club is easy to find and is located at 50A River Street, next door to the Clarence Valley Council, Maclean office building.

The club’s location and building are very senior friendly. The building has no steps and is conveniently located with north and south bound bus stops. Car parking is available in Wharf Street, which offers seniors a flat short walking distance to the club. The open day timing allows seniors to walk in, at no cost, to inspect the club. Why not take this golden opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, visit the club and meet other seniors who all have the same common drive to learn how to use and manage our phones. There is no need to feel left behind in this digital world as help is available at the Seniors Computer club at Maclean.

The club will start its weekly lessons, from Monday January 29. The club opening hours are from 9am Monday to Thursday with special workshop classes on some Fridays. Phone 66454 005 or find the club on Facebook or website www.cvscc.org.au

Note that Opening Day, is Thursday January 25, time 10am to 12noon when seniors can walk-in to inspect the club.
