Hosted by the Grafton Hospital Auxiliary (GHA) on September 25, a fun-filled fashion parade featuring quality pre-loved items and a stellar line up of notable brands, designer outfits, accessories and ensembles from the GHA Op Shop, raised more than $3500 to assist Grafton Base Hospital (GBH) in purchasing specialist medical equipment to service the needs of the growing community.
The New School of Arts Neighbourhood House in South Grafton was at capacity last month, as a large and enthusiastic crowd attended the inaugural event, digging generously into their pockets and opening their wallets, and their hearts, for a worthy local cause.
Organisers told the Clarence Valley Independent they were thrilled with the total amount raised and received lots of positive feedback from participants following the event.
Proceeds were also raised from ticket sales, raffles and lucky door prizes on the day.
Organisers have also hinted the GHA fashion parade fundraiser is likely to become an annual event, and they are deeply thankful to the Clarence Valley community for their incredible support and generosity.
