Pedestrians and cyclists are advised of changed conditions next week on the shared user path of the new Grafton bridge to carry out investigation work on the northern bridge approach.
Work will be carried out from 7am to 6pm on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 June, weather permitting.
A section of the shared user path between the new stairs and the Pound Street viaduct will be closed to all pedestrians and cyclists during work hours and will reopen at night.
The pedestrian walkway and cycleway on the old Grafton Bridge will remain open at all times during the investigations.
Further testing will be carried out over three days later this month, with the same section of path closed again, day and night. A notice will be installed on the shared path to advise when this work is taking place.
Transport for NSW thanks bridge users for their patience during this time.
