After five years of cancellations, they’re back! Its an early start for Woombah this year with Carols in the Park approaching on Friday, 1st December at the Woombah Reserve beside the Fire Station.
This annual event is back on after five years of cancellations due fires, floods, Covid, and bad weather!
BYO picnic rugs and chairs (and a torch for the kids) and settle in among the trees, meet up with friends and neighbours and enjoy music and performances in the natural bush atmosphere of our lovely park.
There will be a variety of performances – solo and singing groups, and dance items, as well as community carol singing. The program will be compered by Paul Commerford, and music provided by the Maclean Music Ensemble. There will also be a Rotary ham raffle, delicious BBQ, coffee and ice-cream vans. And Santa may hitch a ride on the Fire Truck for a surprise visit.
