Water-load of talent

Members of the Maclean Manta Rays Swimming Club are continuing to make waves in the pool in 2024 with a number of swimmers achieving terrific results at the Evans Head Swim Club Meet and the Foster Aquatic Qualifying Meet in recent weeks.

Cody Kratzmann (Boys 9 years, 50m freestyle), Jack Leeson (Boys 18 years, 800m freestyle), and Chase Burke (Boys 14 years, 800m freestyle) continued their impressive form in the water with each swimmer setting a new record in their individual events at the Evans Head Swim Club Meet while Jett Burke equalled the record with his swim in the Boys 16 years, 50m backstroke.

Across both competitions, the talented swimmers from the Maclean Manta Rays Swimming Club racked up numerous wins and placings.

Cody Kratzmann, Ian Burgess, and Hayden Whyte all recorded one win each, while Floyd Doyle, Chase Burke, and Bella McMahon-Willott recorded one placing each.

Jett Burke recorded one win and one placing, and Jack Leeson recorded three placings.
