The Palmers Island Public School P&C Family Fun Day was postponed on the weekend due to inclement weather.
The event will now be held on September 10 between 10am and 3pm.
A reptile show, jumping castle, laser tag, skateboard demonstrations, and fun-filled games including egg and spoon races and sack races will offer plenty of amusement for the kids while a variety of market stalls and food stalls selling homemade goodies will also be set up on the day.
P&C President Belinda Novicky said a lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to make the event possible, and they are looking forward to welcoming a large crowd.
All proceeds raised on the day will go towards replacing canteen and kitchen equipment at the school which was damaged during the adverse wet weather and subsequent flooding which devastated Northern NSW earlier this year.
Attendees are invited to bring cash along with them as not all participating market stalls and food stalls will have EFPTOS available.
