Clarence Valley Council’s new Councillors will be available for a chat at the Cuppa with Councillors events to be held in Grafton and Maclean.
Clarence Valley Mayor Dr Ian Tiley said this is a great opportunity for the Councillors to connect with our community and for residents to find out more about the direction of the new Council.
“I encourage everyone to come along and meet with your local representatives,” Mayor Dr Tiley said.
“We will be happy to discuss our aspirations with community members and talk to people about what they want for the Clarence Valley.
“As Councillors, it’s our role to represent our local community in decisions that consider the interests and needs of the local community through good governance, integrity, leadership and financial sustainability.
“Councillors will soon commence ’Councillor Tours’ to the towns and villages in the Clarence Valley and there will be the opportunity to connect at regular ‘coffee catch-ups’ at coffee shops across the LGA.”
