Maclean VIEW Club celebrated their final get together, and many memories were shared with members.

We were delighted to have National Councillor, Elizabeth Birch present Decade Pins to-Lois Worgan (50 years), Val Keevers and Sue Jones (10 years). A wonderful achievement ladies. Past Councillor Val Chalker, from Woolgoolga Club, spoke on her first get together with Maclean VIEW Club.

Over many years our Clubs have supported one and other with wonderful friendships and enjoyment. Past Committee member Nola Watson, also paid tributes to the great times we had, plus the great things that have been achieved.

Members from Yamba Day Club, also attended to help with the celebration. We sponsored six children in a Learning For Life education program. Enough money was raised to sponsor these children for this year. After finalising accounts, there was enough money left over to sponsor one more child for a further year.

A wonderful effort from all our members, a huge thank you to everyone. That’s not the end of our get together! We will meet as a, Friendship Club for lunch as usual on 3rd, Thursday of the month at Maclean Bowling Club at 11.30am. Hope to see you all, bring along a friend!
