The Inner Wheel Club of Grafton recently held its annual Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea at the home of Mary Caldwell.
The morning was a huge success with 45 ladies in attendance and Mary having beautifully set tables with fine china, silverware and wonderful cakes, slices and savouries provided by club members. There was a lucky door prize as well as raffles and guests commented on the happy atmosphere and enjoyable company. The Club was able to donate over $1000 to the Cancer Council thanks to the generosity of members and guests. Planning is underway for Inner Wheels’ annual Jacaranda Luncheon and Melbourne Cup Day to be held on Tuesday, November 2 at Vines. There will be a fashion parade by Sweet Sisters Boutique, a static display of women’s fashion from the 1950s as well as raffles and Melbourne Cup viewing and sweeps. More information will be available soon.
