Thirty-two members of Grafton Senior Citizens recently enjoyed a day bus trip to Dorrigo area.
After travelling Armidale Road, through Coutts Crossing, Nymboida, Dundurrabin, Tyringham, Hernani, before joining Waterfall Way we arrived at Dorrigo.
After viewing the train collection, first stop was scenic Dangar Falls, for our picnic morning tea. Next, a visit to local museum, which focuses on father of Australian country music, Buddy Williams, who spent some of his childhood at Dorrigo.
Following time to browse main street, a pre-arranged lunch was enjoyed at historic heritage hotel. Next stop was Dorrigo Rainforest Centre, followed by a visit to Griffiths Lookout, to take in the view.
A scenic drive down the mountain, past 2 more waterfalls, was next, followed by a drive through Bellingen, to Coffs Harbour for afternoon refreshments, before final journey home.

Next trip will be to Lennox Head area, including scenic drives in Brunswick Heads, Bangalow, Byron Bay, Ballina area, on May 3. Tickets for this trip will go on sale at March meeting.
Tickets for our four-day tour to Stanthorpe area from September 11, are already on sale, and still has spare seats.
