Although The Salvation Army Op Shop moved around eight months ago from its Pound Street location in Grafton, it appears that there are a lot of people who still don’t know.
The Smith Family Op Shop manager Laura Weekes said that they still have people telling them that they didn’t realise that the shop had moved.
“Our new shop at 26 Queen Street, Grafton and is located beside the back car park of Coles,” Laura said.
“The new premises are about five times bigger than the shop we had in Pound Street, which allows us to spread out our displays.
“Anyone wanting to drop off donated goods can do so at the Queen Street store between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday or give us a call on 6642 1244.
“We are also available to pick up any donated furniture items, that people may have – just give us a call first to organise it.
“We’d just like to thank all our loyal customers from Grafton, Lawrence and Maclean, for their ongoing support.
“I’d also like to thank all our hard working volunteers; without them, we couldn’t do the things we do, to help the people that need us most,” she said.
