Toastmaster Pam chose Friendship and Family as her theme for meeting 204 on May 2. All roles were explained by Timer Andrew who was excellent, Meeting Listener Jan B who collected some coins, General Evaluator Annie who gave an indepth evaluation at meeting’s conclusion. ‘Camaraderie’ was the word of the night chosen by Grammarian Belinda. The Soap Box was entertaining with Michael on giving blood, Joy about the Indian Pacific cancellation recently and Belinda being very annoyed with older men giving her a bad time at work. Jan B gave a comical speech “Is there life after chocolate?” and Ilma was the Evaluator. A business meeting was held to elect Club Officers for 2016-2017. Belinda held the election and all positions were filled. Congratulations and the Club welcomes a couple of new faces on the Executive. Round Robins are always fun and Jan C as Table Topic Master gave some excellent questions to Belinda, Michael, Jeremy, Andrew, Ilma and Annie who were evaluated by Deyann and Joy. Meetings are held 1st and 3rd Mondays at Yamba Bowling Club commencing 7pm sharp and visitors always welcome. For further information, phone Jan 6645 1266, Joy 6646 1124 or check us out on Facebook.
