Those keen to earn points for the mini-comp during Pennant season turned up to a sunny Tuesday – numbers were down of course due to the Pennant players being out of town. But there were two rinks of pairs and one of triples. Only one winner today and that was the pairs game of L. Duncan, B. Shatte who defeated M. Wall and G. Davis. In the other pairs game J. Stamp, J. Campbell d M. Sakac, K. Mason and the triples winners were W. Bell, C. Mazoudier, R. Fletcher who defeated M. McBey, R. McPherson, V. Terry in a fairly close game.

Thursday March 21

Our No 2 Pennant team was at home today hosting the South Grafton team and only two rinks of social bowls – both triples games. Taking home the runners-up prize was M. Wall, B. Shatte, G. Davis d M. McBey, J. Stamp, G. Freeman and in the other game L. Duncan, W. Bell, T. Heath (v) lost out to P. Conley, M. Sakac, R. Fletcher by only two shots. The winner’s prize went to Chris Cole’s pennant team with the consolation prize going home with Colleen Kane’s South Grafton team.
